Press relase from the presidency of Djibouti

In its bid to become Africa's non-permanent member of the UN Security Council,
Djibouti has retained the services of the public relations agency Ensuite Com and of the freelance PR expert Nicolas Teisserenc, who used to work for Jeune Afrique and until September was a consultant at 35° Nord, another PR agency that has been working for Ismail Omar Guelleh. Ensuite Com issued a press release on 6 December to announce the launch of Djibouti's bid to beat Kenya to the Security Council seat, though it was in fact a redacted version of the press release drawn up by the Djiboutian president's office on 5 December . Djibouti is pulling out all the stops simply to have its rival campaign to Kenya's bid acknowledged. In the summer, the African Union voted in favour of Kenya over Djibouti by 37 votes to 13 as its preferred candidate to take up Africa's non-permanent seat on the Security Council for the 2021-2022 period - Here
